Shadows Preschool

We woke up Friday morning to some snow! Guess that groundhog predicted more winter! We read a fun book, Gerald the Giraffe, both G words use the soft G sound. Gerald is a clumsy giraffe who discovers he can dance once he finds the right music...and confidence. The kids worked on three new worksheets: color coding big and little "G" to find the hidden picture, matching shadows, and finding two words that start with "g".

The kids finished making their goldfish projects. They colored and decorated blue paper for their goldfish to live on. Most of the aquariums had Santa stickers to entertain the goldfish.

We made shadow animals using a strong light and an illustration showing us how to make some shapes with our hands. Mostly we danced in front of the light! Our snack included grapes, gummy bears, and gold juice. Whoever drank the gold juice acquired the magical power to turn stuff into gold.

Lastly, the kids colored on some huge black paper with colored sidewalk chalk.
