Today's Joy School was taken over by clowns,
they have an important job to do... making people laugh!
Before we could learn how to be clowns, we needed red noses.
Most clowns preferred one nose, but some wanted more and some wanted less.
We did silly clown things like 'wiping' the smile on and off our faces.
And we learned some new jokes. The favorites were:
"Knock, knock"
"Who's there"
"Lettuce"
"Lettuce who"
"Let us in, it's freezing out here!"
and
"What is a shark's favorite lunch?"
"Peanut butter and jellyfish sandwiches!"
We practiced tight-rope walking...
and tried juggling, which requires lots of practice!
For snack we ate all of a clown's favorite foods: cotton candy, circus peanuts and...
carrots? (who knew, luckily we had some on hand!)
Yummy!
