L is for Ladybug

The boys learned about the letter L, rainbows, and Octagons this week! Tuesday we read "The Grouchy Ladybug" about a ladybug who does not have good manners. He learns some matters at the end of the book. Then we took red spray painted rocks and decorated them to look like lady bugs. With our new lady bugs we sang "Ladybug, ladybug" about a ladybug who lands on different parts of our body.

To practice writing the letter L, the boys got to play with pudding on plates tracing the letter! Our craft was decorating a large letter L shape into a bug. Snack involved eating ladybugs. Gross! No really, the boys each had two apple wedges, then dipped raisins into peanut butter to stick on the apples. It was pretty tasty!

Everett and Phillip decided to attend preschool as the silver and green Power Rangers. The other boys wanted to play along!
