Friday we celebrated St Patrick's Day at the park. All the kids wore green and brought a green snack. The sneaky leprechauns left 12 clues all over the park! Green clues with shamrocks on the back. The kids did a great job listening and sharing the fun finding the hiding places. Everyone had a chance to grab a clue! Zane was the best clue finder! Christine you may have a future CSI in your hands! Towards the last 5 clues we started to get tired of all that exercise. Stella, Amelia, and Phillip all ended up lagging behind and taking a break. Zane found the treasure! It was disguised in a shopping bag as trash under a pine tree. Inside were bags of chocolate coins. I don't know how they got those treats under the tree while we were watching.
Our snack was healthy and green. We snacked on broccoli (and ranch), green apples (and caramel), green cookies, green grapes, and green apple juice. All that food and the drink tasted amazing after running around chasing treasure. The kids dispersed for the rest of preschool playing on the playground! We cannot believe the 80 degree weather when it is still winter. Best enjoy while we can.

Super fun treasure hunt! Zane was so impressed with your leprechaun connections & firmly believes the leprechaun gave you the treasure to hide in the park. :)
